What we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and password (encrypted). When you upgrade to a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your payment details — we never see or store your credit card number.

Scan data

When you submit a URL to our scanner, we fetch publicly available pages from that URL using standard HTTP requests. We store the URL you submitted, the date/time of the scan, and the compliance findings. We do not store the full HTML of your store.

Usage data

We log standard server data: your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This helps us prevent abuse and improve the service.

How we use it

• To provide our scanning service and dashboard features
• To send transactional emails (scan results, account confirmations, plan changes)
• To respond to your support requests
• To improve our service based on usage patterns

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data to third parties.
• We don't share your scan results with anyone outside our team.
• We don't send marketing emails unless you opt in.
• We don't track you across other websites.

Third-party services we use

• Stripe (payment processing) — for handling subscriptions and one-time purchases.
• Cloudflare (CDN) — for site delivery and security.
• Email service provider — to send transactional emails.

Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

Your rights

You can:

• Access all data we hold about you (just email us)
• Correct any inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time
• Export your scan history in JSON format

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and to remember your dashboard preferences. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Data retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Scan results are kept for 12 months. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
